Never Help the Snail
Vol. 2 of Da Wu’s Fantasy Trilogy.
Dawu helped a snail to climb on the rock, but unexpectedly it was caught by a
bird. After that, the story begins with a parallel narrative of two lines. One line
tells Da Wu's regret and sadness because his good intentions turn into a bad thing. The other
line tells the story of the snail's experience after being caught by a bird. The two
lines influence each other while the characters not realizing it. The narrative structure of this book is ingenious, and it shows the butterfly effect to small readers through interlocking plot.
