A Tree Falls in the Forest

<sup>Mr. Darcy had a dream, which was to build a house on the pink tree in the forest. After he built the house, he stayed at home every day, never caring about what happened outside. When the neighbors discussed that a nearby tree was eaten by pests and fell down, he didn't care at all, just thought they were annoying. When the birds fought the pests, he didn't help, just felt that it was noisy outside the window. When it finally became quiet outside and he walked out, he realized what a tragedy his indifference had caused.

The author Lian En Lin did not care about social trends and issues until she became a mother. Through this book, she rethinks what is good and what is evil, and hopes that this book can enable children to create a better world.</sup>
